After leaving the
Air Force in 1966, work as a designer draftsman with a focus
on graphics design renewed my artistic appetite. More recently,
I studied sketching and oil painting under three instructors
in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Kuan Wu, a Master Artist, inOverland Park, Kansas. Currently I create pen-and-ink drawings, pen-and-ink
with watercolor wash, water color, oil and pastel. My focus
is primarily on landscapes and objects that want to tell us
their story. |
I owe my passion
for perfection from my fathers insistence to engage in
what was worthwhile, but once started accept only the best.
As I complete each piece of work I have started, I look for
ways I can improve upon something-similar next time; like a
beautiful musical passage, I try to make my pictures sing with
my thoughts. Always the performer, I love to hear the applause
for something well done. Thank you for allowing me to share
my work with you. |
